Questions
How do I pay?+
Checkout runs on Razorpay. You set up a recurring payment once (UPI Autopay, a debit or credit card, or a netbanking eMandate, depending on what your bank supports) and Razorpay charges it every month or year. You need to be signed in so the plan is added to your account.
Is it a subscription?+
Yes. Paid plans renew automatically, billed monthly (or yearly if you pick yearly) until you cancel. Cancel anytime on the Billing page: you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, then move to Free. No refunds for partial periods.
What does yearly billing save?+
Yearly costs 10 monthly payments, so you get 2 months free (about 17% off): Student ₹990, Pro ₹4,990, Team ₹19,990 per year.
Can I change plans?+
Yes. An upgrade starts right away and replaces your current plan (the unused part is not refunded). A downgrade, or a switch to a cheaper billing period, starts when your current period ends.
Do you have promo codes?+
Sometimes. Click “Have a code?” under a plan’s button before you pay. A code can discount the first payment or every payment, depending on the code.
Who can use the Student plan?+
Anyone with a verified college email on their account, such as an address ending in .edu or .ac.in. Add it under your account settings before upgrading.
Do I still pay the AI providers?+
Yes. DevAI is bring-your-own-key: every request runs on provider API keys you add yourself, so provider usage is billed by each provider under your own account. Free tiers (Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter :free models) work too. DevAI never lends you shared keys.
Which providers can I use?+
Any you have a key for: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter and Mistral. Add as many keys as your plan allows; DevAI rotates and fails over between them.
